Georgian airline Geosky, operating with its trademark Georgian Wings, will commence regular passenger flights on the Tbilisi-Chisinau-Tbilisi route every Tuesday and Saturday starting from February 20th.
The Boeing 737, designed for 148 passengers, will be serving on this route.
A ceremonial event for the first inaugural flight of Georgian Wings at Moldova International Airport is planned by the Embassy of Georgia in the Republic of Moldova, and Chisinau International Airport, by Georgian and Moldovan traditions.
“Republic of Moldova is one of our priority destinations. Significant interest led us to decide to commence regular passenger flights on the Tbilisi-Chisinau-Tbilisi route starting from February 20th, with two frequencies per week, every Tuesday and Saturday. The said decision promotes partnership between Georgia and Moldova, deepens our ties, and provides us with the opportunity to develop tourism and business, says the president of the airline, Shalva Kiknadze.
The airline is actively working on the appointment of new regular passenger flights. New routes will be announced to the public in February.
We would like to remind you that Georgian Wings has been operating passenger flights since July 2023, offering regular flights on the Tbilisi-Batumi and Tbilisi-Baku routes. Airline tickets can be purchased through the airline's official website at https://georgianwings.com/, as well as through travel agencies and airline ticket counters.
