Hand baggage is considered the baggage you transport in the passenger cabin and will be placed under the seat in front of you or in the baggage compartment above. All passengers are entitled to one single hand baggage, dimension 55x40x25 cm and weight of 7 kg.
The size limits include the wheels, the handle or lateral pockets. In order not to create inconveniences to other passengers, hand luggage exceeding these dimensions will be transported as checked-in baggage, in the airplane’s baggage hold.
Besides the hand luggage, the following items are allowed, in case of strict necessity:
- 1 coat, shawl or blanket
- 1 umbrella or cane
- 1 video/photo camera or binocular
It is recommended that you have all your documents and valuable items, electronic equipment, money, credit cards and jewelry, medicine and other precious or necessary objects with you, on board.
List of prohibited items in Hand luggage
Devices that can be used or seem that can be used to cause serious injuries, including:
- Pistols, revolvers, carbines, rifles
- Toy guns and copy of such firearms which could be confused with real lethal weapons
- Component parts of firearms, excluding telescopes
- Airsoft guns and CO2 (pistol, rifle shot, rifle, pistol balls)
- Sporting guns as flare launchers and pistols
- Bows, crossbows and arrows for them
- Hooks or harpoons launchers
- Slingshots and catapults
- firearms, pistols, grenades and other devices that launch projectiles
Self-protection stunning devices with a paralyzing effect, created especially to paralyze or immobilize, are also prohibited, including:
- Electroshock devices, electroshock guns, stun gun (taser) and electroshock canes
- Stunning devices and devices of killing animals
- Chemicals, gases and sprays neutralizing and incapacitating sprays as irritating substances, tear sprays, hot pepper sprays, tear gas, acid
- Sprays, and spray sites with repellent substances for animals.
The objects with a sharp tip or sharp edge, which can be used to cause serious physical injuries:
- Items designed for chopping, such as axe, hatchet, etc.
- Axes and chisels to break the ice
- Razors
- Cutters (paper, cardboard)
- Knives and/or blades
- Scissors blades
- Martial arts equipment, pointed or sharp blade
- Swords
Work instruments – instruments that can cause both serious physical injuries, both affect the airplane’s security, such as:
- Crowbars; drills and drill bits, drills including cordless portable instruments
- Tools with a blade or a shaft, which can be used as weapons, such as a screwdriver or chisel
- Saw, including electric saws, portable, wireless
- Blowtorches
- Nailing guns and rivet guns
Explosives that can be used or seem that could be used for causing serious physical injuries or endanger the airplane’s security:
- Amunitions
- Removable caps
- Detonators and fuses for them
- Imitations or copies explosive devices
- Mines, grenades and other explosive military
- Fireworks and other pyrotechnics
- Smoke bombs and cartridges
- Dynamite, gunpowder, plastic explosives
Checked-in Baggage
Checked-in baggage is considered the baggage you check-in at the airport. It is loaded into airplane’s baggage hold and passenger does not have access to it during the flight. The maximum dimensions of such baggage in the sum of length, width and height shall not exceed 158 cm. Weight of the baggage depends on your ticket option.
- Lite – 6 kg
- Standard – 12 kg
- Plus – 23 kg
Excess baggage is subject to additional payment.

The weight of checked pieces of baggage cannot be combined; each piece is considered as such and charged in accordance with the above table.
The fees/charges collected for excess baggage are non-refundable.
Special Baggage
Special baggage is the baggage that cannot be qualified as a standard, for example oversized, fragile or baggage containing valuable items.
The passengers may ask for an additional or more seats for transporting fragile or oversized objects, like musical instruments in the aircraft’s cabin (CBBG). The maximum admissible weight for each luggage unit must not exceed 22.5 kg per seat and its dimensions must allow its placing on the passenger seat.
Company aircrafts, permits following size for transportation:
- From the floor – 18 x 48 x 117 cm
- From the seat – 66 x 44 x 75 cm
The special luggage must be properly packed to be placed on the passenger’s seat, and the full responsibility for transporting such luggage, to and from the airplane, belongs to the passenger only.
The given service needs preliminary confirmation from Georgian Wings. The ticket for additional seat (CBBG) consists of 100% of the applicable fare, taxes and needs to be issued along with the passenger’s ticket.
Out of security and safety reasons, the passengers with additional seats CBBG cannot be seated near the emergency exits.
The musical instrument transportation fee is EUR 50 per one piece.
The fees/charges collected for musical instruments transportation are non-refundable.
Sport Equipment
Ski equipment and snowboard
Ski equipment consists of snowboard equipment (snowboard with ties and boots) or a pair of skis, a pair of ski sticks, a pair of ski ties and a pair of boots. The equipment must be properly packed, so that it does not suffer deterioration and does not deteriorate other luggage during the flight.
Golf equipment
The golf equipment consists of a golf bag that contains no more than 14 golf clubs, 12 golf balls and one pair of golf shoes.
Bicycles
Bicycles (non-motorized) for travelling or racing with one seat or tandem. The bicycles must be packed according to the following requirements: the horns are fixed parallel to the frame; the pedals are disassembled and stored separately in a plastic or cardboard box. The tires must be deflated.
Fishing equipment
The fishing equipment consists of a box for accessories, a bag or basket for the clothes and the fishing rod.
Additional sport equipment
Other sport equipment that does not refer to any of the above categories.
The sport equipment transportation fee is EUR 50 per one piece, maximum weight is 32 kg.
